In produce, the quality of a product only matters if the product is safe enough to eat.  That is why Van Dyk Farms is Globally Food Safety certified with PRIMUS.  Complying with the Leafy Green regulations and adhering to the GAP, GMP and GFS regulations, we can promise we are doing all we can to assure all consumers our produce is safe. They have a membership with United Fresh Produce Association so they can continue to meet the global guidelines for growing produce.  We surpass local, federal, and global food safety regulations by having Primus Labs perform third-party verification of our farming methods.

Beth Van Dyk has brought the food safety program to a place that satisfies all customers and Primus’ needs. Changes such as deer fences around every field, frog fences around all bodies of water, and daily check lists for all crew leaders along with monthly water tests, proper documentations, second and third-party audits and using certified labs such as Summit Lab in Grand Rapids MI and DEQ in Lansing, are the measurable means used to verify and validate that we are busy working and testing our produce before it leaves our field to your fork.

This ensures your produce is not only fresh, but completely safe.
